Big number 20 !!!!

I hit my 20th home run on Saturday night. I didn't actually think that when I started the season I would have put up the home runs that I have so far. The work outs that I did this off season, the tiny changes in my swing, and the consistent playing time have really helped me show what I can do. We still have 35 games left so we will see how I finish off the rest of the season.

I haven't heard anything on winter ball yet, but my agent is keeping me updated. It's funny because I sometimes catch Lindsay on the computer trying to learn Spanish. I ask her what she is doing and she says, " Just in case we go somewhere that speaks Spanish, I will be prepared!" It will probably be a good thing in the end.

Matt Brown, one of our infielders, went to church with us this morning, we wanted to spend some time with him before he leaves. Today was his last day before he heads off to start training with Team USA. They will practice and play a few exhibition games before going over to Beijing for the Olympics. It's pretty exciting for him.

I thought y'all might like this. A little while back Lindsay , Megan Olenberger, and Darcy Budde had the opportunity to be on-field entertainment during one of our home baseball games. In between the 7th and 8th inning they have a pizza, ice cream cone, and hot dog race from right field to home plate. Usually it's 3 random fans from the crowd, but Lindsay begged the on-field promotions director for 3 weeks to get her in the hot dog suit. She got her wish...and won the race.

After the game today Lindsay and I went to see the movie Step Brothers with Will Ferrell. It was packed out and kept everyone laughing. It is nice to have Sunday day games because it leaves our evenings open to do things that we normally don't get to do.

We hope you like the new site, we still might tinker around with it though. We do have a new photo gallery, the link is on the top of the right column along with a link to our old website.

Talk to you later,
Adam
