14 & 15 weeks

I'm confused.

I don't know what happened to week 13. I think I skipped it but honestly I am so tired right now I can't even think about what happened.  I do know that I am really late on my 14 weeks post so 14 & 15 are together this week since nothing is really different between the two.  Don't judge me and my horrible pregnancy dementia.

How far along?  14 weeks (last week) & 15 weeks (this week)

Total weight gain/loss:
I will find out Monday at our appt.  At the last appointment I hadn't gained any weight but I had the flu and lost a few pounds.  I've definitely gained weight though.  Just ask my Husband. He informed me that my "butt looked pregnant", meaning my arse is getting larger.  The NERVE!

Maternity clothes?
Not yet, but I had to cut the elastic out of my leggings last week, which leads me to believe any day now I'm going to need maternity pants!

Stretch marks?  None!

Sleep: Definitely need more!

Best moment this week: Oh gosh, I hate this part.  It requires me to think & honestly I can't even remember my name at this point.  Hmm, well during my 14th week (remember, I'm posting this a week late) I had a 90 minute massage at a super nice spa here in T-Town!

Movement: I thought I felt something, turns out it was just....well, never mind. :o)

Food cravings:
Taco Bell's Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes and Arby's.  Not together of course.

Gender: I'm still thinking boy but I mean, I guess it could be a girl...OMG I DON'T KNOW! We find out February 7th!

Labor Signs: None

Belly button in or out?
In

What I miss: My normal boobs.  These things are large and in charge.  Not even kidding- they're their own solar system at this point. Mmmkay, now that I've given you that mental image, let's move on. (I warned you that things were going to get personal now that I'm knocked up..talking about my boobs is just the BEGINNING of it!!)

What I am looking forward to:
My doctor’s appt. is this coming up Monday! I'm going to be more prepared this time for the 2 hour wait in the waiting room (ex: new gossip mags, multiple snacks, and peeing in the cup as soon as I get there, opposed to holding it for 2 hours)

Weekly Wisdom:   I mean, people expect me to be pregnant AND wise????? Not happening this week at least!

Milestones: I survived the first trimester (barely)!!

I'm just going to go ahead and announce that I am officially tired of peeing.  I wake up about 4 times during the night and let me tell you , there's no "holding" it.  I don't think I mentioned it in the last post but when we went to the doctor last time the bambino's heart rate was 173 BPM! Some people would assume it's a girl but the nurse said that she had just taken the heart rate of a baby boy and it was 176 :) Thankfully we only have a few weeks until we find out what the little nugget is!

12 weeks

Ok, so I got to thinking (which most of the time is a really dangerous thing for me to do)...am I supposed to post the weekly picture the actual day that the new week begins? Or do I post it on the last? Well, regardless of when it's supposed to be posted, I am posting mine on the last day of the week.  So today I am posting this 12 week picture, but today just so happens to be the first day of my 13th week...?! Do you smell what I'm steppin' in or are you still confused? Oh well..moving on.  I only have approximately 4 minutes to write this because Grey's Anatomy comes on and when it starts the world around me stops.

And yes.  I officially look pregnant.  Thanks for noticing.

How Far Along: 12 weeks..well technically I'm 13 weeks but for the sake of this post it all has to do with week 12.  I digress.

Total Weight Gained:  None! This is probably due to the fact that I had the flu for a mother freakin' eternity 4 days and could barely eat, and when I did eat it came right back up.

Maternity Clothes: None yet, just thankful for leggings!

Sleep: It would be great if Toasty wouldn't hog the bed.  More specifically, my pillow.  I think it's almost time we get a king size bed.

Best Moment of the Week: Not dying from the flu.  Being pregnant isn't fun, much less pregnant + flu.  I mean, I couldn't even shower, I was a hot mess.

Food Cravings: Cap" N Crunch cereal.  It takes me back to when we lived in the Dominican Republic though.  I've eaten so much that the roof of my mouth is peeling.  Hopefully this is just a phase! Oh and corn dogs from Dairy Queen. And Fudgesicles. But not the Fat Free ones like Adam got me, they melt too fast.  Moving on.

Food Aversions: Pasta with gooey sauce.

Belly button/stretch marks: Nope. Although I have a scar on my stomach that I am really worried is going to eventually stretch out and look like one big stretch mark.  I will let you know when that happens.

Symptoms: Short of breath, especially while doing massage at work.  I know my clients thing I am a weirdo for huffing and puffing for an entire hour but I can't help it!

Movement: Not yet

Gender: Not sure yet, we find out in 5 weeks!

What I miss: Everything. I am leaving it at that because what I want to say is not blog appropriate.

What I’m looking forward to: Finding out what this little thing is! I can't wait to start shopping!

Milestones:  I'm tired of thinking so I am skipping this part and ending this post.  Goodnight.

I went to the doctor last Wednesday so I will post about that later, although nothing interesting happened because we spent approximately 2 hours in the waiting room and 3.5 minutes talking to the doctor.  So actually, I probably won't be posting about that.

11 weeks

How Far Along: 11 weeks

Total Weight Gained: We don't own a scale, but I am going to guess about 3 or 4 pounds.  I've been doing a whole 'lotta eating this week! The woman at Taco Casa said,"Dang gurl, you must have a whole buncha moufs ta feed with all that food."  I didn't have the heart to tell her it was all for me.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet, just a bunch of sweat pants!

Sleep: All. The Time.  Except you know, when I am at work.

Best Moment of the Week: I've been sitting here for about 5 minutes trying to remember if I have had any good preggo moments this week, which leads me to believe that obviously nothing happened if I can't recall it.  Let's try again next week.

Food Cravings: Dairy Queen! Corndog, fries, and a footlong chili cheese dog...and the usual ice cream.

Food Aversions: Cheeseburgers

Belly button/stretch marks: Nope.

Symptoms: Well this week I have a cold, so my "symptoms" are less likely to be related to pregnancy.  I would have to say that I've definitely been more tired this past week than I have been in a while!

Movement: Not yet

Gender: I can't remember if I have already mentioned this or not but, the whole time I've been pregnant I have just had a feeling it's a boy.  But lately I'm thinking girl!..wait, actually, I think I already did mention this.  Dementia is apparently a pregnancy symptom I should have put.

What I miss: Being able to comfortably lay on my stomach.  I still can, but due to the fact that my boobs are growing by the second it's getting harder to do.  Seriously, could it be possible that this kid got implanted in my boobs and not my uterus? I think I may have to ask my Doctor about this.

What I’m looking forward to: Wednesday we go to the doctor.

Milestones:  Getting my appetite back! Hall-la-lu-yer!

Christmas video

It should probably be told that I have a pretty crazy family.  Thanksgiving and Christmas is always an adventure that I look forward to!  This year Adam put our Flip camera to use and made a video of Christmas at my Grandparents house (my Moms side of the fam).  What I love about Christmas is that my Dad still comes.  Even though my parents are divorced, everyone gets along great and we all enjoy the holidays together!  I think Adam may have thought this was odd at first, especially when my Dad would bring his girlfriend (to his ex mother and father-in laws house)! But I wouldn't have it any other way!

In the past we have always done gifts for everyone.  We would all open them individually, starting with the youngest person first then one by one we would all watch everyone open their gifts, with the oldest person being the last.  Then over the years it changed to where we just watched the kids open their presents and the adults go at the same time.  This year was completely different.  We played Dirty Santa (except for the little kids, they still got a crap ton of presents!) and it was a lot of fun! And can I just say that I have the sweetest Husby ever? When it was his turn to pick/steal a gift, he asked me which one I wanted, and he stole it for me! :)

Here is the video that Adam put together! Hope you enjoy it!
