Backtracking

Before birthing our 7 pound meatball baby, life was all about Adam and I. Mostly, me. But, occasionally Adam too. Now that Presley is head honcho and that's basically all I ever talk about I realize that there are a few events that have taken place that I never blogged about!

Or maybe I did, but I'm just too lazy to go back and check.

In May Adam finally graduated from the University of Alabama! I was (and still am) so proud of him. While he was finishing up school he was also helping coach the baseball team, and also helping me out at home.

He didn't attend graduation because there was a baseball game. But he did get one of the guys to take some super cheesy (horrible) pictures of him in a borrowed cap & gown.

Also in May, I quit my job. Some things were happening with all of the massage therapists pay and they didn't want to work with me on changing my schedule. So, I said HOLLA! But, for realz, I left on good terms, and I really do miss everyone I worked with! I had already been working at a different place downtown on the weekends. Now I work there only on Friday and Saturdays and it works out perfect!

With Adam graduated and me only working 2 days a week we were also able to take PDizzle out of daycare! If you know me at all then you also know that I'm not the best SAHM and was actually super bummed about taking her out. But, we are a month into it and so far it's been great!

Adam is still waiting on a coaching job and has had a few things come up but they haven't been exactly what he's interested in doing. I wish I knew what I was talking about when I say something about "after the college world series there should be more job movements going on...blah blah blah" but I don't.

Next week our lease is up so we are moving to the lake! One of Adams professors has a very nice house on the lake that we are staying in for the summer while he and his wife go to their other house in Africa.

I know.

Africa.

Every summer they get someone to move in to take care of their yard and their dog, Abby.

As soon as Adam says "I just have to mow the grass once a week" I almost poo my pants because WE ALL KNOW ADAM IS TOO PRETTY TO MOW THE GRASS!

The dog? He can handle that.

Using power tools, changing flat tires, and driving heavy duty equipment isn't exactly Toasty's forte. (LOVE YOU BABE!)

Oh, and their dog?

It's a St. Bernard.

Looks like Presleys thighs are going to be Abby's first meal!

Anywho, we move on the 27th. I won't be the least bit sad to leave our hood. I don't remember what it's like to live outside the ghetto, if you will.

No Big Foot living above us? WHAT!

People who don't blare the bass in their car at 2 AM? I can't wait!

Young boys saying, "Hey guh, you need help pushin' yo baybay's strolla'?"

I won't miss it!
