Everything changes..

I have learned that with baseball, there is no such thing as PLANS. They don't exist and never will as long as there is baseball. It has taken me a while to get used to it, so I no longer get my hopes up about anything or plan anything too far in advance. Whenever people ask me where I will be at during a specific time I can't answer them! It's funny because whenever people ask me where I live I am like, "uhhhh...I don't know." It probably confuses people but that then leads into the conversation about baseball. The whole point of this blabbing is that today Adams agent called and said that the Obregon team from Mexico didn't work out. So, once again, all of the plans changed. After calling my Mom ( who was quite upset about it all) and telling her that I won't be coming home this week, I was relieved that we would finally get settled in and finally start enjoying the off season. But, ohhhhhhhhh no, not yet. After Adam got done working out, he talked to his agent (or someone from the agency) and they said that there are a couple of other teams throwing his name around. Once again, I call my Mom and tell her that I might be coming home. It is very frustrating to me because I would like to just get settled into a routine and make some plans! Like always, we will keep you posted on all of the craziness. But, I can't say that I was sad when I found out that he wasn't going to Mexico. I am very supportive of him getting as much playing time as possible, but I also like to have Adam alllllll to myself..all of the time :) Call me selfish, but he is just so dang cute.

I have been catching up on all of my shows the I usually watch. Thank goodness for internet TV. For most shows, you can go to the website of the channel that the show is on, and you can watch any episode you want. It is great! I tried to keep up with all of them in the Dominican, but when I went to the website it said that 'only viewers in the USA could watch it' so it was useless! But it has kept me occupied for many hours yesterday and today.

My back has been feeling much better the last few days. I don't know if I mentioned it in the other blog but it has been giving me some trouble! I woke up on Thursday morning unable to roll over in the bed and my lower back was KILLING me, and my legs and feet were burning like fire. At first, I thought that maybe I was dreaming. So I help my eyes oped wide for a while and blinked a lot just to make sure that I was fully awake. I was definitely awake and was trying to figure out why I couldn't move from the waist down. I have a history of being quite the hypochondriac and making things up in my head. But when I started to get dizzy and light headed from the pain, I figured it was probably about time to wake Adam up. It was 5:30 in the morning :) We eventually got up and went to the ER and the Doctor said that it was either a herniated/slipped disk ( L5 and S1 to be exact) or a pulled muscle. The nurse gave me a very painful shot that was supposed to help the inflammation, but all I could gather was that now my back AND my arm hurt. They prescribed me a few meds, one of them being a muscle relaxer which I took and I am much better now. It still hurts a little but I am hoping that in a few days it will subside...whew.

We will post some pictures soon, we haven't done anything since being back, so there aren't any to post right now. I hope everyone has a great week. I am pretty sure it's about time to start the Thanksgiving and Christmas diet. The one that most women do right before those two holidays roll around because we know we are going to indulge in unnecessary amounts of food during those times?! I know, that was really random..but, you know me. Random.
