On Wednesday Adam and I got up
I wish I could write a big long paragraph about "O", but I am speechless about it. It was THE most amazing thing I have ever seen! We had perfect seats and I don't think I blinked the entire time. After we got out I couldn't even remember if I clapped..I don't think I moved at all during the show. Hmm here is a little video that I found on YouTube..but trust me, it doesn't even do justice on the real thang. Most of the show is performed over a big tank of water, but during certain points a stage thingy-ma-jig covers the water, so then it's like a hard floor....catch my drift on this? The whole point of going, I think, was so that I would finally shut up about going, but now that I have gone, I just want to see the other shows that they put on..uh oh!! Poor Adam :)
The rest of the trip was just filled with baseball games and eating! We would walk around at night to people watch, but as far as going out to all of the hot spots or gambling..nada. But, it was really a lot of fun! A few girls ended up coming so we hung out by the pool a lot..got a little fried!
Yesterday the team had a game at noon, then they flew back after, so I ended up driving home (well, I actually followed one of the girls back). We made perfect timing though, the guys got in about 30 minutes after I got home!
The first game Adam played in while we were there he went 1 for 5 with a single. The next game, o for 4. The third game he went 1 for 5 again with another single. Sooo..I wouldn't say it was the best series in history..but we'll take it. It seems like the whole team is kind of struggling right now, but somehow they are leading triple-a in wins..hmm..weird.
So, remember how I got a new phone before I left? Well, I took it back today and switched it out for a Blackberry Curve. I just couldn't bring myself to really love the other phone. It was not growin' on me like I had planned. It was the easiest thing ever to take it back too! I had prepared myself for it to be the most difficult thing that has ever happened, and it turns out, it happens all the time. That's what I get for being a drama queen.
Ohhh yes, little ol' me made a teensie weensie little mistake though before taking my phone back..I took a lot of pictures on that brand spankin new phone of mine while we were in Vegas..and forgot to transfer them onto the pooter (..that's the computers nickname) before I took it back. Shame on me...
