It's a full house again!

Well, the guys are finally back! They were only gone to Portland for 4 days, you know, just long enough for me to get the basement nice and clean. It now looks like an F-5 tornado came through. I even cleaned the bathroom, which I hate to do. You know what really bothers me?? When I am brushing my teeth or washing my face and I see all of these little hair stubbles allllll over the sink. Adam will swear up and down that when he uses his electric razor thingy-ma-jig that "the little hairs go up into the razor." Holy cow, let me tell you that's the biggest lie I have ever heard! I could make a wig out of all that mess that I cleaned up the other day! Does anyone else have this problem? The other problem is that Adam seems to leave his un-packed suitcase right smack in the middle of the room. But, I guess I have no room to talk, I still haven't unpacked from Vegas! I am trying to dig down really deep to find the motivation to unpack it, but I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to find a job!!

I wrote a post the other day on the oh-so-lovely job hunt, but then deleted it after I realized I kind of came off as a psycho. So, if you read it, lucky you, if you didn't...just know that I drove around all of SLC only to get denied by pretty much every place I went!!!!! I went to pre-schools, tanning salons, more spas, a doctors office, a hair place, even Edible Arrangements...and nothing!! But, I did have one of the pre schools call me back yesterday...this is how that conversation went with the director...

Director: Hello?

Me: Hi, is this Willow Creek Montessori?

Director: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yes. Hi. Um, I'm sorry you caught me off guard because you called me on my cell phone. Uhhhhhhh.

Me: Well dufus, you called me from your cell phone, so this is the only number I have I was just returning a call about the pre school teaching job that I applied for the other day.

Director: Yes, I see. How much experience do you have in the childcare field?

Me: Well, I worked in a pre school in Alabama for about 5 or so years, and when I wasn't working there I baby sat many kids!

Director: Oh..errrr...well, yeah. That's not that much experience I don't think. Hmmm..welllll...let's see.

Me: **Speechless** (I mean , REALLY? Is she serious? Is she playing a joke on me? Because personally, I think that's a lot of experience, I could probably change a diaper, with my eyes closed, and at the same time, wipe another kids nose, all while breaking apart a brutal fight over the new shiny toy).

Director: But, I'll tell ya what, why don't you just come on in on Thursday and we can talk for a while and see what we can do.

Me: YeahOkayWhatever Ok, sounds good!!

Yeah, so that is how that call went yesterday! But, they are the only place that has called me back so far..beggars can't be choosers!

Adam did so good in last nights game! He went 2 for 5 with a single, a triple, and 2 RBI's! Hallelujah! He was very happy about that! Although, the guy that was pitching when he got the triple was a position player, not even a pitcher. So, I don't know how Adam really feels about that, but a triple is a triple! **Baseball Lesson of The Day**..when a team is losing really bad (like last night, 15-7) and they know they aren't going to win, they will use a position player as a pitcher so they don't burn through all of the real pitchers..make sense??!! Oh, did I mention that I am so desperate for a job that I asked the General Manager at the field if they were hiring. He said,"Well, so like, you wanna rake the field?" I was like,"PPsshhh, I'm desperate, so yes, I would rake the field." He laughed. Really hard. I think he thought I was kidding, but I wasn't. He also said that they just had to lay off 2 people, so they weren't hiring. Baaaahhh!

When Adam got home the other day he taught me how to play spades...ohmygoodgravy I think I am obsessed. Last night when we got home from the game we played against our roommate, Chris, and his girlfriend,Lindsay (I know, we have the same name AND spell it the same, you know, because we are just cool like that.). It was a lot of fun and Adam and I dominated!! Yes sir!

Oh my gosh, totally random, but can I just tell you how excited I am for the Grey's Anatomy season finale? Well, not so excited that this season is already over, but good heavens I can't wait to find out what happens! Eeeeeekkkk!!! And no, I will not be attending the game on Thursday due to Grey's coming on. Adam understands though, Grey's always comes before baseball..it always will :)

Adam and a few other guys just left to go visit some kids at Shriner's Hospital, so this is the perfect opportunity for me to go clean!! Adios!

Adam and I at the game last night

Sofia, already learning how to watch the Gameday on the computer!

Adam signing some autographs last night! Why doesn't anyone want my autograph??

  1. Hey Girl!I know what ya mean about not unpacking. Dustin does the exact same thing and then eventually the kids start getting into it and I have to pick it up and move it aside. I don't unpack it though. Just throw everything back in and move it aside. Urghhhh!

Goodluck on Job hunting. Hope you find something soon!
